Texas Values Stands for Traditional Marriage in Media

Yesterday should serve as a wake up call to Texans, and all Americans, that support traditional marriage. Marriage and the family remain critical for our country and state, and the benefits of children being raised by a mom and a dad are just as important as ever. How we define marriage and family in our laws affects virtually every aspect of society from a social and economic perspective, and Texans must continue to stand firm.

In the wake of yesterday’s U.S. Supreme Court decision on DOMA and Proposition 8, the team at Texas Values has been standing for truth in the media and continuing to defend the only definition of marriage: the union of one man and one woman.
