BREAKING: #SaveChickfilA Bill Passes Out of Committee

Last night, the Texas House State Affairs Committee called a formal meeting and passed HB 3172, the First Amendment Defense Act also known as the #SaveChickfilA bill. The vote out of committee was 9-2 with the bill receiving bi-partisan support.  The bill still needs to be addressed by the House Calendars Committee before going to the full House floor, and the Texas Senate.
