Austin ISD Invites Drag Queen Prostitute to Elementary School, Sign of Things to Come

Austin, Texas – In a sign of things to come if Austin ISD approves their proposed hypersexualized sex education curriculum, Blackshear Fine Arts Academy an elementary school in Austin ISD, recently hosted a drag queen at the school’s library who has previously been convicted of prostitution charges.

This shocking activity is what parents in Austin ISD can expect to see more of if the Board of Trustees adopts the proposed sex education curriculum at the October 28th board meeting. The proposed sex education curriculum includes recommended outside resources with instructions on anal sex, oral sex, and how to get an abortion or birth control pills without parental permission or consent, in direct violation of Texas Law (screen shots below). Austin ISD’s proposed sex education curriculum would begin in 3rd grade and continue through 8th grade.

Texas Values has been a leading voice opposing this proposed curriculum and currently has over 5,000 signatures on a petition against it at NoRadicalSexEd.com.

David Walls, Vice President of Texas Values and a parent in Austin ISD, said “Austin ISD has broken the sacred trust between school and parent. Austin parents have no reason to entrust their children to a school district that welcomes sex criminals and sexually explicit materials in the school. We call on Austin ISD to reject this proposed sex education curriculum and forbid schools from hosting events that put children at further risk. Parents, Grandparents, and Austin ISD taxpayers have every reason to be outraged at the Board of Trustees for promoting this madness.”
