Welcome to the Texas Legislative Update blog.  Get ready for a fast-paced and unpredictable ride as we bring to you the important values issues we will be working on during the 2009 Legislative session.  You’ll “virtually” sit right next to us in the committee rooms before, during, and after our key testimony, in the House and Senate gallery as we track legislative activity and debates on the House and Senate Floor, and watch live video of our testimony and commentary on the important issues of the day.  When it comes to the Texas Legislature, nothing can replace being there in person.  But while we’ve got that part covered, you can be just as close from the comfort of your own home, by participating on our blog!
