War on Christmas Builds

The War on Christmas has already begun this year. In California, a judge has denied a Christian group’s ability to display a nativity scene in a city park after atheists complained. The nativity scene had been a regular staple at the park for decades. This blatant attack on Christmas continues both a national and state trend by atheist groups to attack Christian’s ability to have their voice heard in the public square. Last year in Athens, Texas, an atheist group threatened a lawsuit in an attempt to take down a nativity scene at a county courthouse. Fortunately, they were unsuccessful when Texans stood up to the atheist bullies and rallied at the courthouse with an estimated 5,000 in attendance. These fringe atheist groups are now regularly seeking to threaten local cities on these issues, please contact us if your city receives similar threats.
