VICTORY: Texas Heartbeat Law Still Stands While SCOTUS Schedules Review

AUSTIN, Texas–Today, the U.S. Supreme Court granted a petition to hear arguments over the Texas Heartbeat Law.  The Court set oral arguments for November 1, 2021 while leaving the law in effect.

Jonathan Saenz, President and Attorney for Texas Values, released the following statement:

“We are excited, but not surprised, that the Texas Heartbeat Law continues to stand against these politically-fueled attacks by the Biden administration. We are confident this law will be upheld by the Supreme Court and are grateful that Texas can lead the nation in protecting unborn babies’ lives.”
