Urgent! Odessa Council Girls’ Privacy Vote on Tuesday!!

We need your local help now on this!! You may remember that last year in November of 2024, your Odessa City Council passed a new city ordinance protecting the safety and privacy of women and girls in locker rooms and restroom facilities by a final vote of 5-1(see link here).

Our attorney and president Jonathan Saenz led the way with expert testimony on this issue in front of the Odessa City Council.

But after the ordinance passed, some of the City Council members lost their election. So now the new City Council members are trying to erase this ordinance or weaken it. Why? Because some of these City Council members don’t care about protecting the privacy of women and girls in Odessa, it appears. We must stop them before women and girls get hurt. We have expert lawyers who have reviewed the language, it is constitutional.

Every day we see new stories of men competing in women’s sports and/or men and boys demanding that they use the women’s or girls’ locker room, shower room or bathroom. The official City Council agenda can be found on page 158 here.
