U.S. Senate Could Vote Today on Abortion in Healthcare Bill!!

We’re receiving information from several sources that the U.S. Senate is debating, right now, the issue of whether or not to ban taxpayer dollars from being used to pay for abortions (Nelson/Hatch/Casey Amendment), under the proposed Healthcare bill.  This amendment does not ban a woman from using her own private money to purchase private coverage for abortions.  A vote could come soon.

While we support the Nelson/Hatch/Casey Amendment the current government takeover of health care contains many other flaws, such as potentially costing taxpayers over 2 trillion dollars over the next 10 years, that prevent us from supporting the overall legislation and effort.
