Texas Religious Freedom Amendment Gaining Momentum

One of the most important bills highlighted at the Faith and Family Day was the Texas Religious Freedom Amendment (SJR 4 and HJR 110). Bill authors Senator Donna Campbell and Rep. Jason Isaac both spoke at the Texas Faith and Family Day Rally, encouraging all Texans to support the amendment. A state religious freedom constitutional amendment provides the best guarantee of lasting protection for citizens’ religious liberties from an overreaching legislature, government bureaucracy, or the courts.
