Texas Congressman Chet Edwards Flip Flops on Healthcare Townhalls, Telephone Townhall Tomorrow, Other Townhall Dates

After initially stating that he would meet privately with “health care providers, businesses and everyday citizens” and have a “telephone townhall”, Democratic Congressman Chet Edwards has “changed course.”   After immense pressure from “everyday citizens” outside of district offices here in Texas, Edwards has now decided to have three in-person townhall meetings.

According to his website:

“Later in the month, Edwards will hold three regional town halls in Brazos, McLennan, and Johnson counties. Dates and locations for regional town hall meetings will be announced once details are finalized.”
