SAVE WOMEN’S SPORTS ACT
is scheduled for a public hearing in the House Higher Education Committee this coming Monday, May 1st at 10 AM!

IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY REGISTERED, THERE’S STILL TIME!
Registering doesn’t require your testimony but it does help make your voice heard in favor of SB 15, the Save Women’s Sports Act. If you are testifying, you should plan to arrive and register no later than 8:00 a.m. If possible, travel to Austin the night before, on Sunday. The other side will be showing up in big numbers so we must show the strength of our side and the enormous support for this issue. If you’re unable to make it to Austin please sign the petition NOW!
The following is the schedule for the Day of Action at the Texas State Capitol in Austin:
7:45-8 a.m. – Arrive at Texas Values office across the street from the Capitol; Basement Conference Room, 1005 Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78701. Breakfast will be provided!
8:00 a.m. – Briefing to include receiving ‘Save Women’s Sports’ swag, signing the petition, a review of layout schedule for the day, receipt of talking points and fliers for Capitol member offices
9:00 a.m. – Walk to Capitol to register for the hearing and begin filling up the Committee Hearing Room
10:00 a.m. – The official hearing will be held in Room E2.010
Noon – 12:30 p.m. – A press conference will be held in the Speaker’s Press Room on 2nd floor outside the House Chamber
Noon – 3 p.m. – Take a break and rest in Conference Room E2.020
1p.m. – Sandwich/ boxed lunch provided! Visit offices while Texas House meets on floor session
After floor session – Return to Committee Hearing Room E2.010
