Stand Up For Religious Freedom Rally
Want to learn more about your religious liberty rights and get educated about how you as a citizen can make your voice heard? Next week, there will be thousands of people gathering across the country to proclaim that they want to protect our religious freedom!
The recent Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Mandate forcing all employers to provide free contraceptives, sterilizations, and abortion-inducing drugs through their health plans violates the religious liberties and consciences of hundreds of thousands of Americans.
Even Catholic and other Christian hospitals, universities and charities are being ordered to obey the HHS Mandate, in direct opposition to Christian moral teaching.
In Texas, we have also seen attacks on the private rights of student to express themselves with religious messages. We also continue to see houses of worship and church leaders threatened with legal action because these faith leaders want to educate their congregations and parishes about important issue that affect their lives.
Lastly, we saw what happened to leader of Chick-Fil-A when he stood for traditional marriage because of his religious beliefs.
ON OCTOBER 20TH hundreds of people will gather from across central Texas in unity with thousands of others around the country for a Rally for Religious Freedom.
As a person of faith, a person of conscience and person of conviction will YOU be counted among those taking a public stand against this unprecedented assault on religious liberty?
