Release: Four Years of Life-Saving Protections Since Dobbs Decision

4-Year Anniversary of Roe v. Wade Being Overturned – 250,000+ Babies Saved

Austin, TX – June 24, 2026: Four years ago, on June 24, 2022, the U. S. Supreme Court issued its landmark ruling in the Dobbs v. Jackson U. S. Supreme Court decision, that overturned the Roe v. Wade abortion decision – restoring the right of states to protect unborn life. Roe v. Wade itself originated in Texas. Texas Values, which filed an amicus brief in the Dobbs case urging the Court to overturn Roe, celebrates this milestone alongside an estimated 259,000 Texas babies whose lives have been saved from abortion since the ruling on June 24, 2022.

“Texas has been a beacon of life, protecting more than 250,000 babies from abortion over the past four years since Roe v. Wade was thankfully overturned. As the state where Roe v.
