Pro-Life Rallies in Austin & Dallas on Saturday-Come Join Us!!

Life is Sacred: Remember With Us This Weekend
On January 22, 1973, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled to legalize elective abortions nationwide.  However, in a miraculous story of redemption, “Jane Roe” (the plaintiff in the case, whose actual name is Norma McCorvey) became a Christian and is now a strong pro-life advocate.
This weekend, on the 38th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, churches and pro-life families nationwide will come together to fight for the same thing – the right of unborn babies to take their first breath.  You can be a part of pro-life rallies in your neighborhood, or if you are in Dallas or Austin, you can attend one of these great events, at which we’ll be hosting a table.
Rally for Life in Dallas
Rally begins at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Dallas (1707 San Jacinto St., Dallas, 75201), followed by a march to the federal courthouse where Roe v. Wade was filed and a rally, which ends at 1 p.m.
Rally for Life in Austin
Rally begins at 1 p.m. with a march from 17th and Congress to the Capitol, and the rally ends at 3 p.m.
Additionally, Sunday is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday.  Please use this day to pray for expectant mothers who are considering abortion, women (and men) who have had abortions, as well as for strong pro-life legislation to be passed in Texas and nationwide.
Also, put February 10 on your calendar – Pro-Life Advocacy Day will be taking place at the Capitol in Austin, and we’ll be there to help you make a statement in numbers to all the elected officials, as well as equip you to meet your legislator in person to ask him or her to stand for the sonogram bill.  Find out more and sign up to attend at www.2heartbeats.net.
