Jonathan Saenz, President and Attorney for Texas Values stated:

“As school students and educators settle in, important new Texas laws that protect parental rights, displaying our National Motto, and keeping libraries free of explicit sexual content will go into effect soon. Texas Values is committed to working alongside families and schools so the focus is on education, and not indoctrination.”

The Legislature’s intent was to protect students and restore parental rights, with effective education always at the forefront of the agenda. We are looking forward to public school districts implementing this legislation as intended while focusing on core competencies and transparency with parents and taxpayers.
