LGBT Case against Christian Cake Baker Dismissed

It was announced today the state of Colorado was dismissing its second lawsuit against Christian Cake Baker Jack Philips. Previously, and infamously, Colorado lost in front of the US Supreme Court by a 7-2 decision for its blatant hostility towards Jack’s religious beliefs when the government tried to force him to create a message that violated his conscience. The Colorado Civil Rights Commission used “sexual orientation and gender identity” (SOGI) laws in the state’s anti-discrimination code to harass and punish Jack Philips for years. Legislation similar to this has been introduced in Texas and they have been called #BanTheBible bills by Texas Values for their concerted effort to attack people of faith for their biblical beliefs on marriage and sexuality.

Jonathan Saenz, President of Texas Values said “We are so thankful that religious freedom for a Christian cake baker has prevailed over a government sexual orientation and gender identity law, and that punishment for religious beliefs on marriage and sexuality has stopped in this case for now.”
