Last Day Of Session Update/Speculation

8:53 p.m.  Vote coming….17-11, SINE DIE-Senate Adjourns without adopting HCR 291, leaving all to wonder if there will now be a special session as TxDOT and the Texas Department of Insurance are to be completely dissolved on Sept. 1, 2010, four months before another Regular session.   If so, such things as Voter ID and the Choose Life License Plate could be addressed in a special session along with TxDOT and TDI.  Stay tuned.
