How You Can Help Hurricane Harvey Victims

Hurricane Harvey and its record-smashing rainfall has left entire communities and neighborhoods devastated and underwater in the Gulf Coast and Southeast Texas. Governor Greg Abbott has designated this Sunday a Day of Prayer for those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Our hearts and prayers go out to our fellow Texans that are suffering and hurting. The relief efforts are only now beginning, as workers are still in the process of rescuing people threatened in high water levels in some places.

Our Texas Values team is committed to being there when Texans need us to stand strong. Texas Values President Jonathan Saenz will be on the ground in the Rockport area on Saturday and Houston area on Monday, assisting with relief and recovery efforts. Our entire team will also continue to be in prayer, and we also encourage you to financially support organizations whose primary mission it is to respond to natural disasters like Harvey and who already have workers on the ground. Texas Values is going to make a financial contribution to these efforts as well.

Below, we have put together a list of Christian-run charities who we believe will use your donations wisely in helping Texas’ families and communities get back on their feet:
