Gov. Perry Signs Taxpayer Protection Pledge: FMF Serves as Official Witness

Today in Austin, Gov. Perry signed the “Taxpayer Protection Pledge”. 

 This pledge is a part of a project by American for Tax Reform (http://www.atr.org/). 

FMF president, Kelly Shackelford was in town and was invited to stand with Gov. Perry and serve as the official witness for Gov. Perry’s signature. (see photo).  Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform, also led the discussion at a press conference today in downtown Austin, along with Michael Sullivan of Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, and Cathie Adams of Texas Eagle Forum.
