The Texas Senate today could vote today on the state budget bill, which includes a provision that bans state funding for the research that destroy human embryos.  Adult Stem cell research does not require the destruction of human embryos and has been incredibly successful at saving lives.  Embryonic stem cell research requires the destruction of human embryos, and has had no success.
