Call NOW! Bill to Keep Pornographic Books Out of School Libraries (SB 13) Faces Deadline

Please call the House Calendars Committee now to vote for SB 13 on the Major State Calendar!
Senate Bill 13 by Senator Angela Paxton will stop pornographic books from entering school libraries and give parents control over what books their children have access to.
This bill is desperately needed as some parts of the current law were struck down by the courts and schools continue to mislead parents on the process for addressing explicit library books.
Senate Bill 13 is now in the Calendars Committee. It needs to be voted on in ‘Calendars’ TODAY! We expect the Calendars Committee to meet this afternoon so call NOW!
Ask that SB 13 is placed on the Major State Calendar because of its importance and the urgency to have it passed before the deadline next week!
We just learned that SB 2880, a bill to stop dangerous chemical abortion drugs from harming women and babies, was voted out of House State Affairs Committee! That means it MUST get to the Calendars Committee and be voted out TODAY in order to meet the deadline for bills to pass! This bill ALSO needs to be placed on the Major State Calendar.
Please mention both of these bills, SB 13 and SB 2880, when you call your representative.
