Alert! Texas Women’s Privacy Act Hearing Tomorrow in Texas House, Come Early to Testify!

Tomorrow, (Friday, August 22) at 8 a.m. the Texas House Committee on State Affairs will have a public hearing on the Texas Women’s Privacy Act, SB 8. The hearing will take place in the John Reagan building (JHR) room 140. This building is on the north side of the Capitol facing 15th street.
Please show up and testify in favor of this bill!
The committee plans to limit testimony, so please arrive at 7 a.m. in order to register. We want as many people as possible testifying in favor of the bill. We do not want the limited time they grant for testimony to be filled with activists who do not support women’s privacy.
If you cannot come to the Capitol tomorrow, or if the testimony period ends before you are able to speak, please submit a comment here.
If you have any questions about the bill or the public hearing, please email mcastle@txvalues.org.
We are very close to the Texas Women’s Privacy Act becoming law! Let’s keep up the momentum.
