Activist Judge, Homosexual Couple Force Their “Morality” on Texans

Tomorrow, the Dallas Court of Appeals will hear arguments regarding a homosexual divorce. Our attorneys of Liberty Institute will present arguments along side the Texas Attorney General’s office to stop this attack on our Constitution.

In 2005, by a whopping 76% vote, Texans voted to define marriage as between one man, one woman.

Now, one activist judge in Dallas, Tena Callahan, and one homosexual couple (who have asked to keep their full names confidential) seek to thwart the will of the people, the Texas Legislature, and the Texas Constitution.

Didn’t you know, judges can pick and choose what laws they want to follow!  At least one judge in Dallas and Austin think they can.  More and more tax dollars being spent while the Constitution gets trampled on.

We filed an amicus brief on behalf of Rep. Warren Chisum and Commissioner Todd Staples, the authors of the legislation that passed in 2005 that put the constitutional amendment on the ballot for Texans.
