Action Alert! Sign Up to Testify at April 7, SBOE Meeting, Deadline to Register is Friday

Next Week, the Texas State Board of Education will have their First Reading and vote on the Social Studies standards for Texas students in grades K-12. Please sign up to testify for the meeting on April 7, at 8 a.m. to ensure that Texas students are educated to have a healthy appreciation for Texas and America.
At the last meeting in February, you may recall that there were concerning standards such as Moses not being correctly attributed to being the author of the 10 Commandments or that there was a suggestion that Islam had an influence on the Alamo. Thankfully, these issues have been resolved in the new draft of the Social Studies standards!!!
But the standards still need improvement in other areas. And we also need our SBOE members to hold the line when standing up for religious freedom and American history.
