Celebrate Texas Values on Our Independence Day!

Happy Independence Day! We hope you and your family have a blessed and enjoyable 4th of July as we celebrate 236 years of Independence. We encourage you to celebrate the American and Texas values of faith, family, and freedom on this, our Independence Day.

You’ll recall that in 2010 it was the elected Texas State Board of Education, led by conservatives that protected the teaching of the 4th of July when others were attacking our national holiday. Conservatives on the elected Texas State Board of Education also ensured the teaching of our Founding Fathers, the Constitution, and the Declaration of Independence in Texas public schools. There were also efforts to teach less about Veterans Day and more that failed because of conservative leadership that stood up for Texas values. More details here at http://www.juststatethefacts.com/
