Teach The Truth! Science Censorship Must Be Stopped

Let Academic Freedom Ring-No Science Censorship!

Your help is needed to stop the censorship efforts of the liberal left, when it comes to open teaching about scientific theories, including evolution.

In March of 2009, the elected Texas State Board of Education (SBOE), by a
vote of 13-2 adopted updated curriculum standards including the following language that relates to all scientific theories, including evolution:

“In all fields of Science; analyze, evaluate and critique scientific explanations of science by using empirical evidence, logical reasoning, and experimental and observational testing including examining all sides of scientific evidence of those scientific explanations so as to encourage critical thinking by the student.”

There was loud and vocal opposition to this teaching, but their censorship efforts failed.

Now that updated curriculum standards are in place for the 21st Century, the SBOE will now approve new online instructional materials for Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
