Houston Victory Shows Common Sense Texas values can Win

Houston voters said “no” to a radical, expansive power grab that threatened the safety and liberty of Houston residents. In an historic vote, the Houston bathroom ordinance that would have allowed men to use women’s bathroom and threatened religious freedom  was voted down by a 61%-39% margin on November 3rd.

Texas Values is the state family policy council (FPC) associated with CitizenLink, a public-policy partner of Focus on the Family. Texas Values President Jonathan Saenz spoke with CitizenLink about the victory in Houston and how it’s possible for common sense and family values to win.
