Breaking! Texas Christian University Denies De-transitioner Chloe Cole a Speaking Slot at a TPUSA Meeting, Meeting Now Held at Local Church

Austin, TX – October 1, 2025: Early this morning, Texas Christian University announced that they are denying notable de-transitioner Chloe Cole to speak at a Turning Point USA event, without a noted reason. The student organizers instead will have to move their event to Birchman Baptist Church in Fort Worth. Texas Values has numerous supporters who attend Birchman Baptist Church. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Congressman Chip Roy have both expressed interest in launching an investigation into why the TPUSA Chapter was suddenly denied their event.
Mary Elizabeth Castle, Director of Government Relations for Texas Values said:
“Colleges and Universities should be the leaders when it comes to allowing free speech and open discourse surrounding different points of view. Schools that have the word ‘Christian’ in them should not shy away from the very beliefs on God’s design for humanity that are the founding of their university and what Chloe Cole planned to speak on. Denying student leaders their opportunity to have an open discussion on a topic that is worthy of debate and consistent with the school’s founding is oppressive.”
Chloe Cole was a keynote speaker at Texas Values 8th Annual Texas Faith Fest held September 26-27 at Great Hills Baptist Church. You can watch and follow the event by visiting Texas Values Facebook page and X account.
