Democrat Mary Gonzalez Wins Election, Comes Out As “Pansexual”

Democrat Mary Gonzales will be the next State Representative for District 75 in El Paso.  Gonzales already defeated two other Democrats in the Democrat Primary, narrowly avoiding a runoff, and does not have a Republican opponent for the November General Election.

After running as a lesbian in the campaign, Gonzales has now revealed to Dallas Voice that she is actually “pansexual.”

Although she prides herself in the article as having run an open and honest campaign she admits, “During the campaign if I had identified as pansexual, I would have overwhelmed everyone,” and she added later “Now that I’m out of the campaign, I’m completely much more able to define it.”

Gonzalez said she identifies as “pansexual,” an orientation many would call bisexual, except pansexuals don’t believe in a gender binary and can be attracted to all gender identities.
