Breaking! President Donald Trump Signs Executive Order to Save Women’s Sports Nationwide

Austin, TX – February 5, 2025: Today, President Donald Trump signed an Executive Order to keep men out of women’s sports nationwide. This victory, which comes on National Girls and Women in Sports Day, will protect all female athletes regardless of where they compete in the country. The NCAA still refuses to amend their policies to protect women in sports.
Mary Elizabeth Castle, Director of Government Relations for Texas Values, said:
“Today, I am thrilled that our president is recognizing what Texas has known to be true for some time: men do not belong in women’s sports. It is time for the NCAA and all sports organizations to stop denying women their opportunity to achieve victory and fairness in athletic spaces that belong to them. We applaud this administration for continuing to fight to ‘Save Women’s Sports”.
Texas Values was the leading organization in Texas to help pass both laws HB 23 and SB 15 to protect girls in K-12 athletics and college sports from men competing in their sports. Texas Governor Greg Abbott mentioned protecting female sports in his State of the State Address over the weekend.
President Donald Trump promised, on the campaign trail, that he would act to protect women’s sports. Before leaving office, former President Joe Biden rescinded his Title IX policy on allowing boys in girls’ sports. Recently, the Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sued the NCAA under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act for allowing men in women’s college sports.
