Washington, DC – January 19, 2024: Today is the National March for Life in D.C.. Since the Texas Heartbeat Law took effect and the Roe v. Wade court case was overturned, an estimated over 100,000 babies have been saved from abortion in Texas. Since January 1974, The March for Life in Washington, D.C. has made an impact across the nation with over 100,000 people marching, including many students. Jonathan Saenz, President and Attorney for Texas Values released this statement:
“Texas is pro-life and now America is pro-life. We march because we love them both, the mother and the child. All lives matter and it’s such a special time to be together in a country that now has made it clear in law and in culture that human life is precious and should always be protected.”
Texas Values continues to be the leading voice for pro-life legislation in Texas; including leading every phase of the passage of the Texas Heartbeat Law. For more information about Texas Heartbeat Law, please visit TexasHeartbeatLaw.com.
